The Goal:
The goal of the Elder Accountability App is to help elderly individuals remember and complete their daily activities independently while ensuring family members are informed only when tasks are missed, promoting safety, consistency, and peace of mind.
1
The Challenge:
Elderly individuals often struggle to consistently remember and manage daily routines such as taking medication, attending appointments, and responding during emergencies. Existing solutions are frequently too complex, not age-friendly, or lack timely family alerts, making it difficult to ensure both independence for seniors and reassurance for caregivers.
2
The Result
The final solution delivers a simple, elder-friendly reminder system that improves daily task completion and increases users’ confidence in managing their routines. By introducing clear reminders, one-tap confirmations, family alerts for missed tasks, and an emergency contact on the home screen, the app provides both safety for elders and peace of mind for their families.
